I'd go for an A4/6/8/10 *just in case*. Oh, and the Xone 4D is also scratch certified.

Budget is sort of an issue...

Djm 900 is kind if perfect but that's a lot of clams to be able mix mp3s with timecode.

There's also the scratch upgrade cost innit

Get the Audio 10 or 8.
Certified mixers are great if you can get the chance to use them but if your doing a gig and using the club/bar turntables your unlikely to be able to switch out the mixer (unless its just you DJing).

Certified mixers are neat. No soundcard is great, especially when you can use FireWire although most are USB but...
You end up with an £800 mixer in your room which is cool but pretty much a waste of money... I've used my Korg Zero4 at ONE gig and that was cus i was hired to do a 30th birthday party otherwise its just a colourful addition to the light show in my room.

Yeah... I know I'll never use dvs in a club, had that fail on me too many times. I'll either burn cds or bring my VCI SE. Rock solid to set that up.

I suppose if I got an Audio 10 I could just hang on to my DJM 600...

I want a new mixer though!!!

I'd happily spend £1,000 on it all but that's looking not doable.

    The Denon DNX1600 + TSP2 upgrade = £1,070

But in my heart of hearts I want an Allen and Heath or a Pioneer mixer really

It's one of the reasons I use my VCI in place of a mixer when I'm using DVS - if I can't get the TTs to play nicely with Traktor, I forgo scratching for the evening and revert to the VCI ...

Hmmm... Xone 4D is pretty tasty right?

Liking those midi controls. Shouldn't need an x1 with that lot should I?

If it shipped with Traktor Scratch Pro I'd be seriously tempted. Dropping an extra £250 on top seems a liberty really when I already have Tpro 2 etc.

I love my setup because all i need to take is my soundcard, laptop, x1, and some cables. Just plug the 1200/1210s or the cdj 1000s, that most GOOD clubs have, into the soundcard and youre sorted..
    House.
