n00bs should have a place to share too. While each individual n00b may not have the expertise of many of the experts on this forum (whose advice and wisdom I greatly appreciate) I think giving them a forum to share information and the things they learn will facilitate the process of them teaching themselves and make them not so completely reliant on the busy experts. Also by consolidating all "learning" or "how-to" posts into one forum it makes it much easier for first timers to begin. Sure they can google their brains out and watch youtube for hours but I think as a group of people who love our hobby/profession that we should make it as easy as possible to share our knowledge.

The problem with a 'newbie' forum is that few want to consider themselves newbies, or they think they get better help from the pro section. So such a sub-forum just becomes less used than expected.
I nominate Chilly to moderate the noobs forum
