Indeed - we are talking about solid silver wire to make these cables with though, and not just any silver.

I actually think this is the only cable you can use with the Novation Twitch...its capable of passing the magical signals it produces.

Yeah....but I find they get iffy with age. Touch em and they crackle and lose sound etc.

They always fuck out after a while. Make them up with quality ends...and they will be the last RCA's you ever buy. Last you forever.

I tend to find it's the wires breaking inside the sheath rather than the ends crapping out on me...

Its not about audio quality for me at all.

It was about it working or not.

All the other RCA's I tried gave me hassles...quickly. I tried better ones and the plugs ended up almost eating my gears ports.

So I got these real nice ones seeing as my other lasted this long.

Audiophiles are a bit wonky innit? This is not about the quality at all.

My Audio 4 would not pick up the left side of the channels audio. Was not the needles...or settings.

I used the 2nd set of inputs and routed it to whichever channel I wanted DVS on.

    Thats all gone now.

Love it ...hate it.....it fucking works!

    Mr. Know-it-all......

Don't always assume you know what the poster means. You read into it being about audio quality, which I agree is nuts when we talking RCA's....speaker wires and gold plating.

Would you say that all USB cables are alike?

No slight intended about what you posted chap - more a comment on the loony tunes cash for £4k RCA cable and £14k carts that people put after you ...

I recommend home-studio wires. You can normally get them at a lower price due to their mass production. Aside from that hand making them is always a fun project. O_O
