    no sound...
I don't believe you need to keep uninstalling and reinstalling - get to the point where you got he software installed, the kit wired as up like the diagram I posted, and the .tsi mapped as suggested (I think you've got to this point before - you should be able to use the controller to stop and start tracks but you can;t hear anything -right?)

If you go to the big cog looking icon in the top right hand corner of the screen you should be able to select something called 'audio routing' or something link that - there will be a bunch of drop down boxes here. I reckon this is where your problems are ...

If you can take a couple of screen shots of this page in your setting and post them up here, ideally with the drop down boxes down so we can see the options we might be able to help quicker

Can you hear anything through either your headphones or the speakers?

I'm assumig you've checked the volume on the speakers (I know this is a daft question, but ...)

I reckon its your audio routing under settings - have you tried playing with these?

This is your PC's internal soundcard. You say you've got it set up like the diagram. This won't work.
Select your Typhoon's soundcard - 'ASIO for Typhoon'.

The Typhoon's soundcard will not work without the soundcard's driver installed, with either Virtual DJ or Traktor.
