Personally i'd say the DJM 900... well tidy. I just got the DJM800 and love it

I'd like to see all these xone fan boys take a blindfold pepsi challenge on a club system and see if they can really tell the difference.

I think sound quality wise they are much a muchness. All very good

    Exactly !

When I got my Xone we tested a djm 800 vs Xone 92r back2back on 4+2 set (Dap Pro), without limiters, eq's, ... so straight mixer -> amps -> speakers

INSANE how big the difference was
Using the xone's eq in the right way added so much depth to the sound...incredible. Most clubs have a audio guy and the good one's have a bag of tricks to 'improve' (and limit) the dj's output. So a simple set up sounds more honnest.

The sound of DJM900 is MUCH better then the old 800, but I still don't like them effects. I haven't heard or fondled a DB4 in the wild/store but if the DB2 deliveres (same EQ/ISOLATOR/FILTER & soundcard DB4, 4 channels & <1500 euro)...the Xone 92 is going to be promoted to back-up.

I do hope A&H did their homework on those filters...the old analogue filters ruled the world !
If they don’t want to see the light…..just make them feel the beat…..

DB4 hands down. I play the same style you play, and mixing with the isolator on the DB4 is just super!

I would suggest you try both mixers before making a decision, since in the end its just a matter of personal taste. They are both good mixers, so you cant go wrong with either of em.

Oh, and A&H is launching new products later this week. Make sure to wait for those

As I said, we're both right. Both the pioneers and xone's are good for big pro clubs on massive systems.

    Just horses for courses.

I've played on both xone and pio on massive systems and i'm yet to see a crowd walk out cause the music is being played on a pioneer mixer.

Luckily I wasnt one of the people saying the other brand is crap. Au contraire:
