    This I totally agree with. I saw a 17 yr old lad in the dj competition at BPM yesterday do exactly this. No "mixing" what so ever. Yet you look around the crowd and all the other 17 yr olds were loving it!! My aim in life it to never have to hear anything like that again!!

    i program my sets to an extent, meaning ill have a folder of what im mostly going to play, however its a mainly commercial club where ive gotta play chart shit, but i will still do my hardest to rock it, im not really a fan of fx, like a bit of filter and mayber a phaser here and there but thats about it, but its about reading the floor, if the crowds going for it ill go into a harder set, so yeah ill program a set kind of but i dont think in my environment its really possible to program track for track, yo gotta improvise.
