HAHA. Right, if you're in film school, that's all it will ever be: a dream. You'll NEVER have enough technology. I'm going to school for audio (studio and live), and I have a whole section of my budget dedicated to technology. Here's how it works: Any money I make goes to buying technology. Hahaha. But seriously, I've never made a profit DJing or doing sound projects for people, cause every cent goes right back into new shinny things.![]()
I tried to go to school for audio but all of the institutes that I was interested in cost a fortune, so i found a pretty cool alternative, i go to a public university and major in media studies which teaches me everything i need to know about video production and soon i will start my minor in music industry in which will i learn all of the basics of audio recording and production and the business aspect of music. I plan on also getting an audio production certificate from a community college. I pretty much spend all my available money on gear but right now im broke![]()

Zeto why don't you try go to SAE institute? from the looks of it I reckon it'd be a sweet place to study.

Looked into SAE but I live in south Texas and cant really afford a big move. Im doing what I can to make music a big part of my life. I want to combine audio and video production and come up with some wicked visuals to my mixes and songs so I feel like im on the right track for that
