This proves they are páyed to use them.
Beats sound bad for their price, period, and their construction doesnt handle the abuse they will take for djing.
Sennheiser is designer of profesional headphones, used by djs and studio engineers all over the world.
I personally prefer the HD 280 to the HD 25, but sound wise they are almost the same.
I have to say they eat batteries way to fast, and they're two stiff to be moving them around all night, plus if they fall, i've seen a few pairs shatter,
Also do you not think Dre gave out like 1000 pairs of the "beats" to famous people to promote the brand? Free advertising!
Yeah, i did kinda figure that one out, in Northern England we have fine old traditions of "taking the piss" and "Irony"
Marshall Jefferson did play a blinder tho, he absolutely lifted the roof
My mate was on straight after Marshall an Ce Ce (Kenny.. still FPMSL @ his real name imagine some northern bastard in the green room telling him that he loves his Country & western stuff... Wooosh - riight over his head)
I dont consider coming on after a PA by those two, an envious position to be in..
Ya Rlly
Hell Yeah...![]()
I dont care if Marshall Jefferson uses them of God himself. They colour the sound too much and add too much bass.
They are used by lots of high profile DJs and 'legends' and probably cus they get them sent free and are sponsored by Beats.
Its been said many times by DJs that they are not suitable for DJing. Ive used them and they are like being sat on by an elephant and they blow your head off.
If you want good true sound reproduction you will not buy them.
If you want to look like 'someone' then buy them and put up with the over the top sound.
EDIT: didnt see that last 5 or 6 posts when i posted cus i was watching a movie. I get the p*ss taking now, but the point still remains true.
