That's not even enough money for software & a good audio interface (DJ soundcard). Let alone a decent controller with included DJing software & a built in audio interface.

Native Instruments' new "Traktor Audio 2" (Formerly "Audio 2 DJ". The one bundled with guitar software is called "Guitar Rig MOBILE".) comes bundled with TRAKTOR LE 2 DJ software which provides two playback decks for $100.

Or you could download Virtual DJ Home. http://www.virtualdj.com/download/free.html
To practice DJing with. Burn your music onto CDs (320kbps MP3, FLAC or wav.) & play them on his equipment. (Assuming his equipment uses CDs.)

If it was myself personally, I would just admit that I don't have any equipment or experience & bow out.

How long have you been DJing? If you've got the basics down with no controller, I would just stick with keyboard and mouse, but probably pickup a cheap soundcard so you can pre listen. Probably the best option is the NI Audio 2, which comes with Traktor 2 LE, which is a lot better than Virtual DJ.

Thank all of you guys, I actually found a Hercules DJ 4set for 150 with a case. And the reviews on it are really nice, so I'm snagging that and it's right in my city! Again, thanks to all of you.
