I already had modified the driver PKG, they haven't actually upgraded the driver itself though which would seem to be the issue.

If you hot plug the DJIO in and out it results in high pitched screeching which requires a reboot to solve...guess its hit and miss if it does happen to you, but, Im not the only one with this prob.

No quibbling about the audio quality on the I/O when it was working back on SL, it genuinely was very low noise. 24/96 would have been nice mind you.

Seeing as they haven't got off their arse to fix a driver for something which should have been remedied when Lion was in final release stages would make me think twice about recommending one though.

I'm in a different boat where I needed to install the drivers on a clean machine, but they didn't work. The people in your situation were upgrading an already working SL machine. Try removing the driver and installing from http://www.antoniogalano.com/?q=Utility. It worked for me.

Tried it both on a clean install and upgraded, removed installed and even repackaged the driver myself (you can do it easy though disk utility too).

No joy with either solution, so quickly got rid of the card .. it was just not worthwhile pricking around trying to make things happen if something else in the same price range works out of the box, IMO anyhow.

Just glad i didn't wait on numark to rewrite the drivers.
