    pretty sure mixtrack, mixtrack pro and N4 are the same BUT the NS6 jogs are definitely different.

    Keep the VMS4. Add two CDJs or something along that line. You can run them on 3 and 4 and keep 1and 2 in VDJ. Then you have the best of both worlds. Im not sure how but there has got to be a way to run them time coded as well and use them threw VDJ with the VMS4 and a midi controller mixer.

    He could go with 2 NDX800s/900s...Would be about the same price as an NS6, and then he also has CDJs to use as a backup. The NDX800/900 is completely MIDI-mappable, so he could map em to VDJ to use as controllers with large-format jog wheels. Which if I'm correct, was the main issue all along

    Thanks for the input guys. And I rather stay away from the NDX CDJs because I really despise those Mixtrack jog wheels.

    And to onebuckwild, there's not a way to get 4 decks while using timecodes with the VMS4. I've looked into it many times. I don't see myself using CDJs anytime soon, just not my thing.
