RC = Release Candidate i guess.

It's been leaked, according to crunch gear (see link below).
Official release date for RC is rumored to be on May 5.

Funny tid-bit. Buisness version of Windows 7 comes with downgrade disc to XP for company's that need new computers but don't want to change all of there OS's... how funny
RC is release candidate, pretty much the final version before the offical release is made.

Now its pretty funny that Win7 Bus is gonna come with a downgrade cd to XP. If im upgrading from Xp to Win7 I would do a clean install, I wouldn't want all the junk files left over from XP on my hd. Or hell I would do a dual boot.

All in all Im pretty excited that Win7 is on its way, cuz here at work were stuck with XP and its sooo 2001 OS. Im not saying that XP sux, but I think its time for a upgrade.

I haven't really tried my VCI on it yet but yes I do use Tracktor 3.4, and Scratch. Lately I have mostly been messing around with Scratch and it has been working well with my Audio 8 DJ and time coded vinyl. I will try the VCI on it and let you know if I come across any problems.

there shouldnt be any problem with the vci on Win7. Being that the vci is a plug and play device and the OS sees it as a midi/game controller.

Awesome, that's great news. If 7 is what it's cracked up to be, it sounds like I should be able to upgrade without any driver problems.
