region restricted vci ???

ahhh well i won it . Seeing as it wont have a warrenty due to the fact she refuses to tell me where it was purchased . any mods you guys would recommend out the box ? does anyone know where to get the firmware kit in the uk ? or do i just wait til djtt gets them in stock ?? sorry for all the noob questions

1) Arcade button mod is awesome, i did mine all by hand personally.
2) The only place you can get a firmware upgrade kit is from the DJTT store unless someone is selling one second hand (which isnt that often)

cool i`ll get onto the arcade buttons then . seems i`ll have alot of soldering to do when i get home this summer i have everything i need to make arduinome still to put together .

and ill just keep checking back on here for info on the firmware kit. there is one on ebay but its upto about 30 pound already

Well done on winning the VCI. I didnt bid in the end partly due to the fact that im at a BBQ and im totally arseholed.
Yeah that guy selling a FW Kit on eBay is taking advantage of the rarity of them. But hey thats what eBay is for i guess.

Im back to square one. Gonna ring round a load of shops in UK to see if anyone has one coming in soon ( i will not pay £400 at HTFR they can eat shit and die).
Then next is good old USA. Or eBay in USA. OR ive got a cunning plan to get a certain American member of this forum to buy one and send it over and i pay his PayPal account back (maybe) ?

I will get one of these things...im super on it now !

We have no such availability troubles here in little old new zealand, only exchange rate issues. I always see lots of those VCI's on trademe etc
