CLR sound is very different from the typical Berghain stuff you here. It's more polished digital techno, Bergain is very washy high reverb massive bass and dub influences.

I like both, CLR podcasts have a lot of the Berghain guys on there as well, check it out on CLR.net or iTunes

Adam Beyers Drumcode would be more similar to CLR as well if you like that sound.

Len Faki is a friggin monster, I seriously like almost all of tunes

Redshape is another favourite, like most of his stuff but he can get very housey but tough house.

yo, i'd be interested to know what people think of this. pariah and blawan, two staunch uk bass/techno heads, have been collaborating a bit, and put out one white label release. they call themselves karenn..

really brutal industrial techno, but so sick. copped this on wax a while ago, play it all the time (takes a bit of getting into..)

I mentioned CLR as some of the more recent releases by Xhin and Lucy and by Tommy Four Seven have been more of that Berghain sound, quite far from the Drumcodey sound, which i love also. Absolutely adore Len Faki, it was actually seeing him at I Love Techno
that made me fall for this sound!

Don't know Krocher - thanks for the mention - will check him out. I saw Monika Kruse live at a Cocoon promo in South Africa - undoubtably one of the best I've seen.

I've wanted to see Oliver Huntermann for a while! I saw Xhin on Saturday there, outstanding set, so heavy at points it just caused me to scream with excitement!
