I would do it for the big dedicated filter knobs alone. The lack of the filter knobs on the channel strips of the S2 is a dealbreaker for me and you can tell they only didn't include them to compete with the S4 a little less.

Still not convinced its the right move TBH. I bought an all in one for portability and i have a feeling the VCI is just too big for my needs. I map the filters in traktor to knobs on my X1 at the moment so thats not really a dealbreaker for me. I'm mostly swa7yed by the standalone mixer functionaility and vestax feel tbh...

Bleh, might just buy the VCI and sell it if its not my cup of tea.
