Learn works fine with keyboard buttons(the keyboard on my laptop)

A possible mistake that you could be making is that your trying to map functions in the keyboard mapping section when you should be trying to do midi mappings for your trigger finger in the midi mapping part of the software.

After that, one thing i would try would be to get another program that uses midi - like maybe perhaps the Ableton Live demo and see if that recognises your controller so you can establish that it is/isnt Traktor thats causing the issues.

Thanks a lot for your help both of you!Although I think I've solved the problem now; It seems that the problem was that I had INTERNAL mixing selected in the audio setup, instead of EXTERNAL.

So if anyone else has this problem, give this a shot:

Audio Setup > Output Routing > Select EXTERNAL mixing
