If you're losing bass or the audio sounds "thin" when playing both speakers then it sounds like you have one of your speakers wired out of phase.

the problem is both speakers work fine if i turn the balance button to either the right or left it sounds normal if i center the balance and remove either Right or Left from the RCA in my S2 it sounds normal too but why if i center the balance and pur both R and L in my S2 i get no bass and almost a sort of crunchy sound so confussing..

You sure you don't have it plugged into a phono input instead of a line? If there's CD input like others said, plug it into that.

Bro, you speakers are wired TOTALLY WRONG, I'm surprised you haven't blown your amp. You've got the positive and negative leads coming out of the Left & Right. Please power down your amp and read the manual.

Unplug the speaker wire from the back. Make sure the amp is off or preferably unplugged. Each speaker wire has 2 leads a postive and a negative. The positive goes to the red tab the negative to the black tab blow the red. You have them wired horizonatally. Does this make ANY sense to you? If not, find somebody close to you who knows what they're doing. With the way you have it wired you could fry both the amp and the speakers.

From your picture, you're feeding the positive of both left & right to one speaker and the negative of both left & right to the other speaker. No wonder it sounds distorted and crappy.
