    I got some Pioneer HPM 110's (1970), in the 70's, they were quite expensive. I must say, I'm quite impressed by the soundquality.

    got a pioneer hifi amp a-209 hooked up to a pair of pioneer speakers cs-7030. rocking this system since 1999 and pretty happy with it

    If we ignore the brand then what he's said is pretty true. Anyone who's ever played electric guitar will tell you there can be quite a difference in volume at the same wattage (I'm thinking of Mesa Boogie in particular)

    Cerwin Vega D1s I believe. Any info on them would be great, thinking about an Onkyo 160w 2.0 ch stereo receiver for em, but without an option to add a sub later im still not sure.
