Apple's pricing policy in Europe is pretty ridiculous. $2199 = €2279 = £1799? Come on.

So disappointed at this MBP revision.

There is again only 2 USB ports and no ethernet!! And no CD Drive!?!

NO ETHERNET?!?! That means you need a thunderbolt to Ethernet adaptor? great, "the most portable and power full laptop" - ermm now needs a load of accessories too! and a USB CD Drive.

really poor. Love the new display, and the all flash approach and termal design looks brilliant, but the lack of IO is a complete load of rubbish, especially at the price.

I'm all for moving forward and love Apples new features. But gotta agree with 00DJC.

No Ethernet or CD Drive.. I was already aware this was happening but damn.

I love how they now call ethernet "legacy". Until they can provide reliable gigabit wireless it's hardly legacy.

Lack of I/O is an annoyance. Having to buy a Legacy ethernet port, less then awesome. I'll keep upgrading my 2010 MBP for now. Thanks, but no thanks Apple

Thing is - even if there was a wirless gigabit standard out and working, the ability to just plug in is priceless in so many ways, like security for instance. Not to mention there are places where there is only a wired network, like offices.

Specifically to this community as well, pioneer's pro-dj link works through an Ethernet link, so without an adaptor, this laptop out of the question for pioneer CDJ users relying on the ease of using rekordbox right from their laptop
