As u can see in the link this is one of two dj games coming out this summer, the other one, "dj hero" has a quite interesting controller as well. I heard that "ultimate dj" will be a hip-hop sort of game, where scratching and fast fingers are the point. "dj hero" is for mashing. But no harm in even more controllers coming out.

this game cant possibly teach cuiing, beatmatching, knowing your songs, playing music that makes the crowd dance, therefore it will be a fun diversion to play with, but I dont see it teaching anything other than scratching (thats a maybe since it appears that you wont be scratching, just moving the "vynil" when the game says to move it) Guitar Hero doesnt even come close to teach you how to play the guitar...)
Silly DJ loops are for kids!
Might be worth buying the game for some people just to rip all those samples.but the drum pads will be used to trigger samples from the 60 battle records that will ship with the game.
He's right you know.

DJ Hero apparently pisses on it from a great height in terms of gameplay, and allegedly you can scratch with it. I've seen some of the graphics and from what little i've seen DJ Hero does look better.
