whats the best equipment for beginners

I am a beginner too and just bought the Novation Twitch as i think that is a great controller with lots of features to grow in, and as many others say.. buy used locally as you will be able to test before you buy.. i made a real deal on my Twitch got it for around $150 as the guy thought you couldnt use the same software again, but as serato itch is free it is no problem

I learned on the Mixtrack Pro and was very happy with it.
It was really tightly integrated with VirtualDJ, so that is what I learned on. I really wish I had known about Traktor then because its so fantastic.

The Behringer CMD Studio 4 comes out next month for $200 US. It's has a built-in soundcard too.
