No, that doesn't work. Modifiers are, as we already discussed, not global. They are tied to the controller that they are effecting. Try switching the control for one of those "pages" you talked about to a keyboard command. Won't work. Did you not read the previous comments...? The entire thread is about how you can't do the simple thing that you just explained like it was to a five year old.
Fair enough, conceded. And to be fair to you, my meaning was a little ambivalent.
The point i was making regarding "the facts", was more to do with what i was saying about NI as a company as a whole. However frustrating the issues with Traktor are, overall they've done so much more to indirectly advance music production, and especially making synthesis more accessible to everyone. Still, no reason to be snarky i guess...
And again, i do concede i was wrong about the modifiers

To the OP, bearing that in mind, isn't there a button you could sacrifice on your midi controller to act as the modifier toggle?

Don't worry about it. Next time just think about how we might know what we're talking about here...

About Ni... I don't want to get deep into this, but NI has very good design staff. They invent great stuff, it's just that their developershave got to be part of some special education program or something... Were you around for the S4 sound card driver fiasco? for the first six months of it's release, the S4's sound card was basically unusable to 90% of windows users, because the drivers were so broken.

Then there's the fact that NI literally just ACTUALLY PLAYED the incompetence card with the remix decks... They blamed the reason that they can't be midi mapped on the fact that the way that the developers built the remix decks was so closely integrated with the hardware of the F1 that they couldn't make it work without it... No developer with a functioning brain would ever even START developing ANYTHING in that way. Plus it was so easy to fix that days before the F1 was even released, community developers had fixed it FOR them without access to the source code

These are just two examples. I can go on for days, about how their software is shit both because of the incompetence of their developers, and their atrocious business model, which is now based on only developing their software in ways that will let them sell hardware.

unfortunately no. I have a Vestax VCM-100. My mapping is in the mapping section here. The EFX map.
