DDM4000 broken?

If it was analog there might be a better shot at fixing it but I would just trash the DDM- odds of fixing it are slim and any chance you could would not be worth the money. We have no way of knowing what's wrong with it and it probably won't be something simple.

it's too old. so no warranty left...

They do work on stuff that is out of warranty. You'll have to pay for it, but it's a fix.
