    Hi guys,
thanks for postings. I am originaly choreographer and dancer. We do not have such a issue when we quote or use another people material. Its free, if you do something new out of idea of another person, you should not steel, thats where you get into troubles - more that people are not interested in you and you are over. (Only for dramatic text you have to pay)

I want to give respect for the people musics I use - so if I use it professional to pay for it, but I do not like that some freak can come on me with paragraph, when I give name and pay for track (I am living in Austria). Also I am not good producer, but I hear, so for me at this point is all about mixing, but I hear differences, so I want to use good music.

Am I getting it right, that general tendency for profi use is to use music of good producers - with payed download and leave the playlist?
Greeting and cheers on all good music.

Blogs aren't illegal, if you do a remix of a tune and sell it without permission then it's illegal. If you do a remix & give it away then technically there's not much they can do as you're not profiting from it. I'm sure there are some form of copyright laws that someone is going to correct me on, but even if it was against the law and some skint producer does a re-edit of some track and gives it away, what are they gonna do?... Sue them for the zero money they have made from it?
It's more the original track being shared for free the corporations are worried about.

Definite must see, really puts the argument across well that although there should be restrictions in place, it's gone too far, just like a lot of things nowadays.

Whats so special about the usenet groups that makes them invincible. Always wondered this?

I don't think that they are invincible. I think that the most people use P2P sharing like bit torrent and not usenet. The RIAA is going try plug the largest leaking pipe first before they tackle the small ones, if at all. But I do remember the RIAA cracking down on smaller P2P sharing like irc back in 99. That got side tracked when bit torrent sharing came on hard.

I like, as subtle as a baseball bat to the forehead. What type of shot would you recommend? Fine for a wide angle (+you hit a lot, -you probably wont kill any off them) or narrow (-more specific targeting, +excellent warning to the others)?
