    no worries. The cool thing is - once you figure out the right setup, you can write a simple script to auto-configure it all each time you need it Goodnight Chief.

    Set up a repeater with Input: your capture device. Output: Virtual Cable #[whatever]

    There are a whole bunch of things you can try from which repeater you use to the the parameters you can look at in the VAC control panel. You could also look at throwing Asio4All into the mix. At this point however, you really should be considering spending literally a couple of quid on a cable. Why are you so determined to use VAC anyway?
