    They look okay but the Mid/Hi boxes will be huge! How would you transport them. Also you would need to find a way to get them off the ground. You cant put these on tripod stands. Seriously a single 12' and horn or single 15 and horn will suit you well.

    Don't forget you would need to add shipping costs to those speakers on ebay. Plus as the cost will be over $1000 AUD you will have to pay import duty plus GST on the total price. The total price includes the price of the goods, the price of the shipping and the price of the duty.

    I just got a set of alto powered 12"s for a little over $550 and a set of harbinger unpowered 18"s for $600 and from guitar center and I love them! Awesome sound. Money well spent. Go check them out.

    If you have a budget of 4K, Spend 3K on the bass and 1K on the tops.

    Depending on where you are located, you should be able to get a pair of RCF Art 10's and a pair of Yorkville LS801's for around your budget. Less if you find used.

    If you truly want big bass, use that 3K budget to build 4+ of Bill Fitzmaurice's cabs and spend the money on a good power amp.

    Try go to the local music store, and try it out couple speaker, and decide which one you like.. and then go to the online store to find the best price. but you really have to listen to qsc K12 and compare them..

    Good to see people on this forum are smartening up to the terribleness that has always been behringer. When you absolutely need equipment on the cheap and don't mind gambling on a buy twice situation, it's an ok decision.
    On a side note, I would no longer recommend Turbosound. They were always a staple of quality in pro audio, but have recently been acquired by Behringer. While it's not a death toll for them and they haven't done anything to say their quality has gone down, I would hold off to see what they do with the company, and what direction they drive it in.

    Have you ever listened to Yamaha DXR15? Many people mentioned that it sounded like a it was playing with a sub.

    i have some EV Eliminators as my tops and have to say they are very crisp!! Couple them with 2x dual 15inch subs and you can create an amazing sound for dance music. I really would recommend getting passive speakers over active.. having the amps near to the djs means you can a close eye on what is going on.. I would also recommend buying a compressor/limiter for the signal coming in from the mixer and then send the audio signal thru a crossover and out to your amps. 1 amp for top and another for your bass.

    not to sure if you are going to a more top 40s system or dance music.. but something like this will keep you happy for a long time
    Macbook Pro 2011 :: Xone 22 :: Technics 1200 :: Denon DNS3700 :: 2x Midifighter ::Akia MPD24 :: Kaoss Pad 2 :: Audio 6 :: KRK Rockit 5 Darkstar :: Roland Sh-101 :: Traktor Scratch Duo :: Ableton live 8
