    Awesome work! congratulations, and i dont think refurbishing 1200's gets more professional than this. you should post a step by step guide.... if you dont mind sharing your secrets

    Good work!

    I searched for this thread earlier but couldn't find it for some reason

    I picked up a used and abused pair of 1200s myself this morning and the main problem is corrosion on the platters. I put up some pics on this thread: http://forum.djtechtools.com/showthr...l=1#post517397

    Not as bad as the ones at the start of this thread but one of them is bad enough. What would you recommend as a first step?

    Oh the condition on the pictures you posted is very much treatable. You just need to scrape the paint, reface them with a 400c grit sandpaper, then followed by 800c.
