Honestly I was of the same opinion as you until recently in another thread I was informed that you could turn off the motion control on the MF3D. I could never see myself waving the thing around. It does however give me the option of being able to control another remix deck in Deck C if needs be.

I don't know. All I know is I'm perfectly happy with my S4 + F1. I don't see myself using anything else. Except maybe a maschine in the near future.

All the midifighters just don't have that "professional" look to me. I'm a mobile DJ though so maybe it's different.

How do you find the F1. Like I said I'm just after selling my gear and I'm in the process of upgrading so I haven't bought much yet. Trying to find good deals on second hand stuff so I can afford the whole lot. I def plan on getting the F1 though. How good is it and where do you find remix sets to download or do you make them yourself?

I love it. I'm always finding new and creative uses for it.
I mostly use it for adding samples, loops, and FX to my sets. I don't really make "songs" out of the loops though.

I get my Remix Sets from NI and http://remixdeckset.com
Sometimes I make my own though..

I want one so bad. I can't wait to get creative with one. I'm dying to get back DJing as I can't do anything at the moment without any gear. Kinda missing my old pioneer 350 setup now as I really want to mix. Gotta be patient though and wait for good deals on used gear to come up if I want to afford everything I want to get. The main things I want at the moment are the F1, the maschine and still unsure whether I want the S4 or the VCI-400. I'm not in too much of a rush to get the MF3D. I can get that later down the line when I have more funds if needs be. I remember coming across that site once before but couldn't remember the name of it. Thanks for the reminder

use a pelican hard shell roll along it'll fit as a carry on and the thing is damn bulletproof. Don't forget your needles and battle records you never know who's gonna hit you up lol

That thing is an absolute tank. There ain't no gear getting damaged in that thing. The needles and and battle records are for later down the line. I've never had turntables but I want to get them to use as time codes. Due to the fact that I'm emigrating next year when I graduate I'm trying to keep my gear small enough so that I can take it with me. Don't want the hassle of trying to sell turntables before I leave. They will have to wait till I get setup in my new home next year. Definitely want to invest in them and learn how to use them though

The Pelican is a beast. It's also quite expensive and heavy.

You're asking a lot for a single bag. Here is the one I currently use: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Musicians-Ge...item1e704e3fbd

You MAY be able to fit all of that in there. I have filled it with my S4, two 15" laptops, an x1, wires, and headphones before. If you run something along the size of a 13" laptop, I think it's very do-able.

Also very heavy... I got a small laptop bag to help redistribute the weight through two bags. Much more manageable that way. I think you're better off with two bags... Just claim one is your "personal item."
