    I thought if you booted Windows up with a CD in the drive it would ask you if you wanted to boot your system of the drive first before you have the option of not doing so?...Or am I wrong and thinking about something else....Obviously im a bit computer illiterate =P

    There's an option in Bios to turn that on, but it should be off.

    have had a similar problem with friends ipod, this was on traktor 3.2 tho.

    You can just disactivate your whole CD drive driver if you want
    Sure fire way to never have a problem with your cd rom drive !
