Don't mean to sound like a hater, but the xponent looks too fisher price to me. I've used both and the jog wheels on the xponent don't feel right all the way at the top.

I have used and XPonent and found it a nice controller, though comparing it with a VCI is not done.

Look and feel of both is completely different to me. Cue jumping, FX tweaking, loop control, it just seems to be natural on the XPonent.
The only downer of the XPonent was the instable software. Which is a complete downer for me.
