I recently found a new (to me) one with my MF3D and Ean's mapping.
As a phrase is ending, start to sweep/build it up with the pfilter. On the last for beats of the phrase add the transpose stretch to pitch it up and finish the phrase with a beatmash 2 or gater 1 (gives it a stutter) while sweeping the pfilter back down (gives it a woosh)just before the drop of the next/first beat. It works well when a phrase ends with some sort of vocal sample. I've used it with techno, house, and glitchy bass tracks....your mileage may vary.

What exactly do lofi and tranpose stretch do? I've looked at them, but I'm not really sure what the goal is for them. Any insight would be helpful!

That depends when you ask it. Around noon they eat sandwiches. Late afternoon they tend to kick their feet up and play some xbox. Suppertime you're bound to find them in a veggie food restaurant and at nights they cuddle up together.

That is EXACTLY what they do. Let no-one tell you otherwise..
