Add play (deck A), set prg1, learn pad, add play (deck B), set prg2, learn pad. You did this?

Make sure the command is set to toggle and not hold (and the button on the lpd to momentary)
If you switch banks and the button is set to hold the midi command probably turns off

Do the pads receive midi messages for the LEDs? if not I dunno. If so, it's as simple as adding a midi out command to the pad you want to light up.

Yes. They light up for a second that the command is sent.. Just add an out? Can it be done on all commands? Lets say filter on/off low kill on/off etc..?

Yes it can but why not simply try out first and see for yourself? You can always delete command if you mess it up.
