It all comes to down to how comfortable he is with his setup, if he enjoys using his S4 and feels very capable with it then probably he won't leave it. I think he has some kind of partnership or sponsorship with NI too and thats why he uses their products heavily. (From germany too :P)

Well, I tried the beatmasher 2, the tape delay, the delay t3 and pretty much everything else discussed here, but I still can't imitate the sound. Been trying as well as it interests me just as much as the TS. More idea's anyone?

uh ramp delay in advanced mode

start with the wet/dry at zero. set the duration at around 4/4 and the rate at 1/4 with feedback off. turn up the wet/dry to add delay then click the feedback button for the ramp up to begin. now turn the rate to the right all the way to ramp up the sound.; it sounded like the beatmasher was used prior to introducing the ramp delay though as stated before. it is hard to get a perfect balance between the two effects, but i'm sure stewe can figure out a mapping.

could even be the auto bouncer in place of ramp delay as it has a much more intense ramp up and has a dedicated transpose but is a little more unpredictable in the first few tries. it shouldn't be too hard to figure it out though as there is only a couple of sliders

It's just a part of the track and Beatmasher effect on 60-70% wetness so build can still be heard in back.
