What if I want DVS functionality with deckadance. My only question is if the built in soundcard allows you to utilize the inputs through asio which could be routed to the inputs within traktor and/or deckadance.

For example, my maudio mbox is not traktor scratch certified but by plugging my cdj into the input and routing the input to deck b on traktor i can use it for timecode control.

You can use the MC6000 soundcard for DVS use on anything but serato/traktor. Unfortunately you have to sacrifice 2 channels (1 and 4) to do this, but it's possible.

Have a look here for explanation: http://www.denondjforums.com/forums/...p?f=55&t=19582

This is for Virtual DJ, but It also works with mixxx, and should work with deckadance as well.

I never did get around to making a video showing it working, but hit me up if you need any help.

Edit: How did you get your Maudio box to be recognised by traktor as scratch certified???

It doesnt have to be a scratch certified sound card to route the inputs into traktor.

Yepp. Which if it has inputs which can be routed through ASIO it CAN be used for timecode control. as stated before, if I can do it with my mbox, im fairly certain i should be able to do it with an mc6000.

Ok, I have never been able to get it to work with my MC6000.... Traktor does not recognise it as a scratch compatible soundcard, so you can't enable timecode control. Which version of Traktor are you using, and what settings are you using with the mbox??

Then how can your mbox possibly be recognised as a scratch soundcard?? it's not on NI's list of certified devices... Unless there's some other sort of evil witchcraft going on here???
