S4 Scratch Upgrade

On the front of the "S4 Upgrade Kit" it says "Also Upgrades Traktor Pro provided you own an Audio 4, 6, 8, 10, or Traktor Scratch Certified Mixer".

The DJM900 would of course fall under the last category so I'm not sure why it's not working. Maybe some incompatibility with the free Traktor Pro X1 edition?

Actually when i pick up the box it says right on the front "works only with traktor kontrol s4"

I should research next time maybe

Didn't realise there was a 3rd version of the upgrade kit sorry. The newest version of the kit on the NI site is the full version of Scratch rather than an upgrade.

Based on what I see on NI's website, he should qualify. He has a Traktor Certified Mixer and a full version of TP2. Am I missing something?
