go for the macbook pro mate - the macbooks are cool and will still give u less trouble than PC but i think if u have the monies just spend the extra £300 quid or so!
i have actually very recently bought a MBP with 2.4ghz / 500gb HD / and 4gb ram and fuck me its quick! Not got Traktor working yet as im running snow leopard, but apart from that im as happy as larry with the machine!

Bought the middle model of the 15" MBP and never looked back.
Talking Traktor Routing in Ableton and it works like a charm.
