do not ever bring your non-powered usb hub to the club. it will disconnect your device anytime when usb provides lack of powers. you need a powered hub, this is a must.
non powered hub = for keyboard and mouse. should not be anyting else.

Yup you should always use a powered hub for anything that has a sound card or a lot of LEDs.
Sounds like I should be using a powered USB hub hahahaha. Thanks for the input everyone.
But this leads me to another question. Should I still plug the soundcard directly into my MacBook and the X1's to the USB hub, or run everything into the hub??
A&H Xone 62, 2 x X1's, A6, Sony MDR V-700's
I use my hub with no power and don't have issues. Go figure.

I would plug the card into the computer directly and the controllers into the hub, if I could, also as silly as this sounds, you are plugging in your macbook right?
Run the sound card straight into the computer and the x1s into the hub. A buddy of mine ran his A6 into his powered hub once and it kept screwing up the sound. Running straight into your laptop cuts out the "middle man" basically and won't force the audio to try to go through the hub first then out.
