Im curious. When i installed the upgrade and after entering the product key, it asked if i wanted traktor scratch pro or traktor pro mode. Very curious... Also i had uninstalled all previous versions of traktor scratch... weird.

ok never mind. I looked on my old receipt:

We've received the following order data:

But VCI is a bit cheaper over here from what i've seen, but if this was out earlier this year when i bought vci i would've more likely got this instead.

I live in Lancaster, UK (Nr Manchester/Preston).

I have looked at the stanton stuff but i just don't like the look for it for some reason, i like to have knobs etc rather than touch.

Anyone had experience with VCI300? or is the versatility of the VCI100 making it a no brainer?

Well it's a 2 hour drive... so thats not too close. Norfolk is about 2.30 hours so its pretty much the same.

Is it worth paying the bit extra to buy the VCI100 SE from the DTT store?

Yeah i agree but it would work out MUCH cheaper + easier to buy it in the beginning as the shipping charges are about £50.

I was just wondering actually do pretty much all the DJs on here use sync? As the VCI pitch sliders look a bit on the small side to accurately beatmatch

i use them set @ 8%, only hit sync to tighten things up if need be, put the bpm display on and found it sometimes sits .1 bpm either side of where you want it - but that's only a problem on long mixes where you have a lot goin on

Ok cool, time to get spending i think :P

The Vestax VCI100 black edition thats available at the moment does that include the rubberised black knobs you can buy on this site?

If so im just going to buy the overlay + firmware update. If not then i think i may have to buy the arcade edition as that is the only one available at cost to myself

the VCI100 can be more precise than a cdj player.

what you have to do is use the basic pitch for rough beatmatching , then use the upper part of the joggs to fine pitch. you can do it easily cause you can assign multiple functions to any parts of the VCI100 , espacially the joggs.

once you're are used to hit , you can beatmatch just like on a CDJ , it is 0.01% precision , and it wont move once matched.
