can somebody give tips on how to make better mixes?

you asked how to make them better, so why don't you identify what aspects you feel aren't so great and tell us those? maybe we can make some suggestions or outline some techniques for what you're wanting to improve...

i don't mean to sound harsh, but mixes take a while to listen to, and if YOU dont even think its good, then i sure don't want to listen to it, lol.

listen to lot's of mixes and practice.

you can't get good at anything unless you practice lots and research the work of the professionals in the game.
