Sorry for hijacking, but can anyone tell me about the law beyond the pond? I have always wondered why all your music is censored. Is this mandatory or can you only be sued if someone feels offended?

Hey, so I am gonna be playing at a high school Halloween dance on the 31st of October. I usually dj clubs SO this is a change for me. Is there any place I could find a lot of censored top 40 music? Because I'm not sure if I can play original "dirty" top 40 stuff. If anyone has any tips for djing a dance please shout them out! Thanks.

The "NOW That's What I Call Music" series will generally be non-dirty.

well its a private school...haha and i think the teachers would have me hung if i played fuckin problems by ASAP Rocky with nothing bleeped out or even thrift shop by macklemore....

I was asked the school specifically if they wanted it censored and they said yes. When I play anywhere else i don't censor it.
