    Default Ok, here we go

Let's start with the basics and make sure you have the right .tks file. If you do, great, u can skip this step (don't know exactly what u are asking so we'll cover it all). if not, get it here:
    http://www.djtechtools.com/wp-conten...staxvci100.zip
Designed by: Native Instruments for control over 2 decks

You extract it anywhere and go into traktor - Preferences - Hotkey & MIDI setup - MIDI Setup. Select 'Load' at the bottom and then navigate and select the .tks file.

Now (with vci-100 plugged in and on), go: Preferences - Hotkey & MIDI - MIDI Interfaces. And, check under 'Active' next to the vci-100, for both out and in.

    Now for the soundcard.
Go Preferences - Audio Setup - Soundcard. Next to Audio Device use the arrow box to choose "Novation USB ASIO Driver.

Preferences - Audio Setup - Output Routing. For Monitor, choose Output 3 & 4 (left & right). Master, Output 1 & 2 (left & right).

Now, on your nio flip the switch on the left side up to 'a' and plug your speakers into the rca jack on the back for output 1&2. flip the mon switch on the bottom to 'b' and plug your headphones into either headphone jack.

I think that's everything. Anyone pls feel free to correct or add to it if i forgot, etc.. there are other ways to set up the soundcard in the user guide, but that is how i set mine up..

    hope that helps. peace.

hey m8, thank you very much for the detailed description))))))

actually my system is setup the exact same way...... but i cant hear separately deck A out loud and deck B in headphones(((((

i'll explain in details what i want to get: you remember the standard 2 decks playback mixing (2 cdj and mixer or 2 turntables and mixer). so you're playing deck A (cdj 1) out loud on dancefloor and monitor (if there is one). Meantime in headphones (only in headphones) you're listening to deck B (cdj 2) and set starting cue point, then try to beatmatch what you hear from the dancefloor (or monitor) with what you hear in your headphones using pitch and pitch bend. then you mix deck A with deck B and eventually fade out deck B. now its viceversa, deck B is out lound and you PFL next track on deck A.
so you have to be able to swap the channel you hear in headphones. on standard mixer you do this by using PFL button (phones button).

I'm sure everybody knows this for centuries.........

But what i want to realize now is how to simulate this PFL function on my Novation Nio 2|4.

I want to be able to listen in headphones what is playing in deck A or deck B even if loudness fader is down and also to swap easily between deck A and deck B.
