Really? Mine doesn't. I just push it really lightly and to the beat so if it pops it's not bad lol.

Its "aesthetic" design was styled after the DB series, so it might still be analog. Also, the DB series doesn't have the analog VCF filters, and the 23 does.

I could be wrong, but the D in "DB" is for Digital.

The Xone:XX still says, in my head, analog.

I hope it's analog.

there is no mention of any DAC in the specifications section of the manual.. I would say it's analogue
