    i still ask how do i remove the top black part of the vci 300 so i can clean it up...

    Thats a good question, i havent busted apart this VCI-300 yet !

    hehe.. well i tried unscrewing the scews on the sides of the vci 300.. i wanted to clean the gain knob (the under part) of the right deck.. coz its a lil sticky when i move around.. couldn't do shit coz the whole of the top part would come off.. and was a lil difficult to remove the top part.. and all the wires/connections.. i just left it.. screwed it back on!
    the vci works fine.. just the right deck gain knob feels sticky when i turn it.. and the under part of the black top is sticky too..

    now my right deck's gain won't work.. no signal shown wen i turn the right deck's gain knob.. the right deck sends out track volume at a certain fixed volume.. turning the right deck's gain up or down makes no difference in volume..

    You can try to spray some Caig Deoxit inside the pot, but those are tough to clean. They are replaceable if you're handy with a soldering iron.

    been checking some videos.. ppl opening up the vci n stuff.. might have to give it a go.. faders need cleaning too...
