Mixer to Midi Device

I think its a pretty cool concept. Maybe as a retrofit to use an old mixer as with a DAW. Maybe you like the feel of an old Urei mixer but would like to use it with ableton.

Yeah! That's what I want to use it for. I have a Numark M6 and a Maschine Mikro. I wanted to be able to do live sets with them, but the Mikro only has 1 knob. Even if you don't use it for mixing, you are getting 6 knobs and 2 faders.

it would work wonders on taking those old beater mixers and turning them into daw controllers of sorts
