USB Hubs Powered or non Powered

i'm using a A&H Xone DB2 with two X1 mkII with a non powered hub without any problems on a MB Pro retina 13"

I'm using Ableton Push along with a Midifighter 3D and Twister with a Belkin High speed USB 2.0 7 port powered Hub :http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-High-Sp...owered+usb+hub

I have two of these, one in the studio and one for the road. I've never had a single problem with either of them and I will say that they are really flat so they are super easily to slip into a gig bag for travel.
