If you couldn't use apple products, what would your setup look like?

I am PC and NI s2 at the moment so I wouldn't change a thing. Maybe just your traditional CDJS and mixer would be a good idea and just leave the computer at home all together.

I would most likely do that just to leave the statement that you don't need a laptop to dj

It would make things less portable. Instead of my very easy to carry laptop/korg nanopad/ipad setup, I'd need to bring my Akai APC40 along, which admittedly isn't THAT awkward to carry, but I'm always afraid of putting anything with breakable knobs into a backback.
