So I was mixing for 30 minutes and the audio started to wonk out.

The Zalman Audi interface would turn on and off and thus cut the audio. The main mix and the cue would drop out for 7 seconds and come back in. Then go out again.

Sounds like a power issue. I was running 100% battery at the time. So I restarted the iPad and plugged into AC power via the USB camera adapter lightning port.

I mixed again for 30 minutes with no issues. But I will continue to beta test it before I try it out in public.

I'm also going to try a powered USB hub thinking that maybe the Zalman is pulling too much from the iPad and the iOS is knocking it off.

I'll post my findings in a few days.
