Of course David Guetta is house music. It may not be to your taste but its house music of a popular chart variety.
I cant stand David Guetta but im not such a snob as to say its not house music.
I can get a lot more snobby about good house music than Romanthony (correct spelling) but whats that point. It proves nothing.
Its not offensive dude its silly.

    Jus sayin'

Maybe i am a music snob but i like good music across all genre and i find it boring and its not house its pop music to put it in it's right place. And im not a snob to say i dont like David Guetta music id rather listen to Lily Allen and it's just my point of view. If someone doesn't like my taste in music i dont tell them there silly il listen and c if they can broaden my taste in music. iv been djing for 16 years and i was listening to larry heard, larry levan, harri, slam, MAW, stacey pullen and i could go on, and what they play now and played then is house music not what David Guetta plays ask anyone who knows music if you think David Guetta is house and c what they say. And as i said at the start i dont mean to offend its just my point of view and i never knew we couldn't talk our minds. Sorry for my spelling mistake "childish" grow up.

I mean, hell, we all know that guetta is a pop hack who barely even produces his own tracks, and really hasn't got much of a clue behind the decks. BUT, the mainstream is eating that shit up (and I quite like the old guetta/actually Joachim garruad sound). He's obviously spinning at a mainstream party, and if you are not spinning mainstream tunes, people are going to have difficulty gettin on the dance floor. Its unfortunate but true, until they get drunk .

And actually, I really feel Guetta's collab's with Chris Willis had a bit of a Romanthony feel to them.

    EDIT

also, scoops, you didnt say you didnt enjoy listening to David Guetta. You said he isnt house music, which would fit the profile that Karlos was applying to you, cause Guetta fits the formula, even if he is super poppy and mainstream.

By saying id rather listen to lily Allen im referring to the fact that i would listen to pop music and i wouldn't enjoy listening to him. im very open minded it just has to be good. lily Allen is pop but done very well and everything is different not the same repetitve sound the hole time. I dont have a problem with what he's doing i know if someone was throwing that much money at me id take it.

The Romanthony track im on about in "the ball and chain" i c the link is broke on the one i posted. It actually sounds fresher than any of the stuff Guetta does and its 17 years old here's another link for it

    ummm. not gonna touch that...

before i got into electronic music, i always heard 'one more time'--daft punk playing at midnight lol. those were my hiphop days =D. having a small party at my place, and i'm pretty sure thats what i'll play (all of my friends love that song =P). may not be 'house-y' enough for ya though.

you can always just ditch edm and play lady gaga's christmas song =DDDDDDDD
