+2 I be dammed if I have to do such again!! That's way to much down time. NI will prob lose sales to the veteran users of traktor. Let's hope they make the old filing work with the new!!

and you guys worried that you will have to re-grid every track ... don't panic. I'm pretty sure the clever folks at NI thought of that.

they didn't so much when going from 3 to Pro, yeah the grids and points followed over, but pro renumbered them and buggered a few things about, so i had still had to do some tweaks. Originally Posted by djproben

had a thought....
didn't traktor 3 only have 2 decks until the 3.4 update came out? if so, was it a free update? Started out on 3.4 so not 100% sure, but remember seeing something in the manual that mentioned the 4 decks being new?
and didn't the 1.2 update of Traktor Pro make some big(ish) changes? again not familar with these, came in at 1.2.4.
so if i have my thoughts right (which would be a first) this could just be a 1.3 free update to accommodate the new controller? it's their software, if they want some features for a new controller they're building they can do what they want, right?
