" I’m the Dude, so that’s what you call me. That or, uh His Dudeness, or uh Duder, or El Duderino, if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. "
Thats kinda what the General Discussion Forum is for.
If a product or topic becomes incredibly popular and takes ove the General Forum or simply needs a dedicated subforum, one is created as happened with with S4 forum.
Its more of an organic thing, it happens when it needs to happen.

Let me be clear that I don't want anything to change here and that wasn't the point of my question. It was more a feeler to see if there was a feature or something we coul add. The vibe here is the #1 thing we have going for us and changing that wouldn't be a good thing.
They used to I think. Subaru forum or some shit. I get the feeling that its all a bit much for the admin guys there at DJF in recent times. Those dudes are getting older, families, full time real jobs etc, and trying to run a significant forum as a side project would be crazy tough. Theres only so many hours in the day.
I was looking for a cached version for something to see the subforum list and googling djforums doesn't yield any results anymore- as if it vanished.
Exactly what I was going to say, I look at Googles' cached version every so often to look at things I didn't get a chance to when the site was actually up.
I'm imstillnotadj btw.
I think DJF going down has had very little effect on me, since I am on many forums already, some just for various things, but I'm on a few that about djing and production (like KVR and GS). I check multiple times a day to see if DJF is back up though, just because it was such a great community.
